Morning Greg.
Morning Greg.
So, what did you decide about tomorrow?
The Wizard wants to so I guess we will. He is going to try to put the compensator on for me there.
Luck with that.
If you put it on per instructions it will not come off to break the gun down to clean it.
That is why I put a set screw in mine.
Okay, I guess this isn't going to be easy.
It can be just know the barrel will be in the slide.
I need to see it again but if memory serves I took the long way to make mine easy to take down.
What would be too light?
That's a good question. For a single action trigger on a 1911, I'd say anything under 4# would feel light to me. Maybe 3.5#. But with a CZ, I'd be carrying it with the hammer at the half cock notch so the possibility of having a shaky hand pop off a round with the double action pull would be a lot less. I think I'd be comfortable as long as the DA pull was between 4 and 5 lbs. The SA trigger pull could be closer to 2 to 3 lbs because if the gun is in SA, then the game is on and I'd already be shooting.
What's the lightest DA trigger commonly achieved on a CZ non-Omega trigger?
I think my Shadow has a 2.5 lbs. SA & 5 lbs. DA
I'd be perfectly comfortable carrying that and the 2.5 lbs SA trigger would make a great gun too.
waiting for a CZ82 to be added to my tiny CZ collection
No plans to add any more CZs for this guy. I'm afraid my RAMI would get jealous. Oh and I'm poor....
