Morning all...
Darn it Tim, you beat me to it! Congrats! Beautiful gun
Morning folks!
They have another one just like this one down there Tom. I looked at both to see if I could spot the blem and neither has anything I could see. I ended up choosing the one from the back room only because it saved them from having to make a new tag for the one in the case.
It is funny how some guns grab you and others don't. I've always liked the look of the 75B over the guns with rails, even though I like the usefulness of having a rail on the gun. Without a rail, this new gun will never do nightstand duty as long as there are railed options available each night. The Beretta 92 is a gun that's never grown on me. Non-1911 Sigs are the same way. Except for the P320, I just don't lust after the pistols in the Sig style.
Like CM says, I have nothing against them, but just don't care to own one. But, the stainless 75B was definitely a want for me. I fully expect it to become one of my favorite shooters with time, talent and parts. The Compact 75B is another gun that strikes a chord with me. If I decide to go back to 9mm carry, it will most likely be done with another Compact since I don't imagine I'll get my current compact back off of my son any time soon.
Exactly. It would be a terribly boring place if our taste's all ran the same line.
Would you believe that there are actually people that like the look of a Glock?

Or ever get it back "Dad"..............
And will argue this till the death.....
Very true. In their defense, I have generally looked at my collection from an heirloom standpoint. I guess they just hold on to the guns for us until we can hand them down to them. If that makes any sense.

But will it be death by Glock or by 1911?
No, they think they have to say that to be like the people who own handsome firearms.
Snap, if looking at that Omega ever becomes a burden please let me know and I will take it off your hands.
I wish I had the cash, I'd run down and pick it up tonight!
Hehehe... No, it's not particularly offensive where it sits now. It's in an old school leather duty holster at my bedside. I took an old belt, put it through the loop of the holster, and laid the belt between the mattress and the box spring so that the holster is the only thing you see, literally hanging from the side of my bed. I can just reach down with my right hand and grab it.
Annie Freaking Oakley right here boys......

I am either tired/burned out/or just OK with what I have right now.....no lust.
