Do P 09 have a better factory trigger than the P10F?
What WT said....The P10 trigger is a superb factory striker trigger.Honestly hard to compare DA/SA triggers with a striker fired trigger IMO. I prefer the P10 series trigger myself, but that's not saying the P07/09 trigger is bad.
That qualifies as better than pretty good! Now for nice classic wood combat grips? :-)Had some time last weekend to revisit my S&W 681 I got awhile ago. Had some dings on the side plate, top strap, and around the outer edge of the muzzle. I got all the imperfections dressed out and redid the crown and bead blasted it, turned out pretty good.
He glows in da dark!I am now radioactive.
So no 3.5-4lb trigger pull? Or less? What WT said....The P10 trigger is a superb factory striker trigger.
The P07/09 is a pretty average factory SA/DA trigger.
IMO
The omega trigger I have heard is nicer out of the box than a standard CZ DA/SA but even with Cajun parts is not as ‘tunable’ per my understanding. It can be made nicer but not as nice as the Wizard can with a standard CZ DA/SA trigger. My stock 75 SC is a nicer trigger than my stock P07 was.So no 3.5-4lb trigger pull? Or less?
I think most CZickos have more than one safeMy bank account is not going to be able to handle all the firearms I want to purchase. Between people on the forum and FaceBook, and now the P-09? I'm going to need more storage
Guess its a good thing I just got a raise at work, now I just need to work up the courage to actually spend the moneyI think most CZickos have more than one safe
My P10C (with HBI trigger shoe and spring set) is a 4.5#. Very short travel. Very crisp wall. Amongst the best striker triggers on the market. So no 3.5-4lb trigger pull? Or less?
I have the same trigger on my P10F and it runs between 3.5-4lbs. So that is what I'd judge the P09 trigger by.My P10C (with HBI trigger shoe and spring set) is a 4.5#. Very short travel. Very crisp wall. Amongst the best striker triggers on the market.
My factory P07 is 10#DA and 3 pounds 10 oz SA. A very respectable SA/DA trigger.
Afternoon all. Continued prayers for all in need. I keep having issues finding time to keep up here.
I saw the TFBTV video on the New P-09s. I guess the P-07 is no more, as it is now the P-09C. These are the next guns to get on my list.
Though honestly, I was thinking of getting my first suppressor for my birthday.
I would think so. If not, we know a guy...I have the same trigger on my P10F and it runs between 3.5-4lbs. So that is what I'd judge the P09 trigger by.
SA trigger is what I'd be more interested in. 4lbs or less is very good in my book. I like a 3-4lb pull on my handgun triggers.
So I'll probably like the P09 right out of the box then?
Yeah. I also like the bigger slide stop/slide release. Keeping it where you can decide between decocker (my preference), or safety is nice as well. I hope to pick one or two up in the near future.Looks like a nice evolution of the platform. I like that they created a direct mount system and not just plates. RMSc isn't my favorite footprint but gives you the Holosun 407k - EPS Carry which are solid options.
Yep. My 2 are getting pretty full...might be time for a 3rd.I think most CZickos have more than one safe
