For a variety of reasons, it certainly was a sad day for our country. However, we've always agreed to keep this thread free of political discussions, so I'll honor that.

I finally got back to the 60+million year old amber, and encased insects.
The macro lens revealed a few ancient bugs near the edge .... basically imperceptible to the naked-eye.
Now, I must do some focus-stacking, to enhance the details, and find some more treasures !

Stopped by my LGS yesterday(I know) and they had a Echelon and a M18. Both have optics and similar pricing. Don't really have a need but do have a want. So if you had the choice which one would y'all pick up? I'm kinda leaning towards the Echelon but either would work.

Making up some 38 ACP ammo today, was getting low. I actually use a cast Lee 125 grain bullet for 38 special with Titegroup powder. Been impressed with this combination since I started years ago, none of my old Colts misses a beat when shooting it.

I didn't make a decision on a scope yet but I did find a Redfield 63 front sight for the Remington 37 I've been needing.
