For those that don't know, Wyoming is my birthplace. We moved when I was two years old because my grandmother got sick back home in Indiana. Going back to visit has been on my list for a few years now. Sometimes my Mom and I talk about how much life would be different if we would have stayed. My parents loved it out there, said it was a slower pace of life and people were friendlier.
Sometimes I wear my cowboy boots and hat out and about. I think in an alternate path in life I could have been a real cowboy!
We did not get as much rain or fog as further north, with everything being wet though I skipped deer hunting.
As dreary as it was, you probably would have caught a bad cold .... so wise choice !
(Good) wives are like that. Women don't want to be left a widow, and I can't blame them. I think that it's tougher for them to live alone. The gardener worries when I go hunting these days.
I remember you telling me that one time (born in Wyoming). I came close to majoring in Forest Management at Purdue, instead of Electrical Engineering. Of course, the Vietnam war ruined those plans .... but I could have easily ended up living in the mountains out west.
I put on my getup when I went to the Bull Riding event in Indy (2012)
Gosh ... I was a fatso back then. Eek !
I've always wanted to get a cowboy hat, I've been told that different types look better with different head shapes and faces.
I don't have my senior pics from high school, I'll have to try and get a pic next time I'm at mom's.
I wore a cowboy hat and leather jacket to match. I was badass for a city boy from Lawrence.
Bought this hat last time down in Tennessee at the Ariat store. I believe it's called a Cattleman's hat.
