It's supposed to be nice today. My ankle is feeling much better and I'm going to lace my boot up tight and see if I can get it done.
I'm planning on putting a scope on my new Ruger American Ranch 7.62x39, and getting it shot it.
I'm thinking about using it for deer hunting this year along with my RIA 10mm 1911.

Hope you enjoy that Ruger today. I'll be at the range later this morning after I drop the kiddo off at school. Testing out the new GSG 1911, bobtailed Tisas 1911 and then some rifle play with my CZ 457 and Howa 6.5CM. I have new front rifle bag to test.

Well - les'see

Today 9-15-23 is the 12th ann'y of my leaving Des Moines and *thinking* I'd be forever with my then wife in Indiana.

So much for that date to mean much of anything anylonger.

Albeit, I DID get to meet most of you yahoos & because of it and I know because I KNOW I have lifelong friends from those meetings.

Even for those that have journeyed to everlasting life.

So it is still a win - win

I got to shoot with some of the best peeps around and got to enjoy your cool state for almost 12 years.

What's not to like..?
