I love that first Corvette. The C3 is not my type of Corvette, it would be the last on my list of Corevettes to own. I also love that Boss 302. I do love the Mustangs. The 1964.4 - 1973 Mustangs I love, after that is S197 followed by the S550.A little 427 tri-power muscle?

With a stinger hood?

Or do you prefer 389 tri-power with a 3-speed on the floor?

Or go fast small with a Boss 302

Bet you like a 5.0 L Coyote.

There is always a smooth 4.2L straight 6 convertible

Or a V-12 2+2

How about floating down the highway in American steel and chrome!

Finish up with Chevy red, white and blue.

I don’t have any advice but I’m curious what you find out, what you choose and what your experience is with the company you picked.Getting my windows tinted on the VW on Tuesday. I have a choice between carbon film or ceramic film. Does anybody have any experience or opinions on the two? All I know is the ceramic is more money but may provide better cooling.
Did not see any FJs but we only saw about a quarter of what was there and the auction has already been going on since the 12th.My infatuations with cars are mostly over. They all break eventually. Or rust away.
Still a soft spot for a 78 FJ Toyota Land Cruiser . And there is a little love left for a 928 Porsche. I've seen 2 968s this past week and it got me thinking about the 928 again.
What do you like about the ‘78 over other years? My infatuations with cars are mostly over. They all break eventually. Or rust away.

Side note- if you get an air rifle, and don’t like the krapy 4x scope they throw in. Make sure your new scope can handle air rifles. Something about the forward and backwards “recoil” air rifles cause to scope glass. A lot of high end scopes will shatter from the mighty .177 lead pellet.Air Gun?
Got it. Off to Gunbroker….
Be careful Cookie!!! You could put someone’s eye out!!!!$2100?!?!
Never mind, I’m bringing my 30 year old Red Ryder…
On mine, it’s the sprung thingy moving forward that would eat a normal scope.Side note- if you get an air rifle, and don’t like the krapy 4x scope they throw in. I’ll take the ‘64 GTO, please. And thank you!A little 427 tri-power muscle?

I like a 928. The “American” Porsche. Having done very little work on one, no thanks. When I make my first million, ha, I’d love an old ‘60’s 911.My infatuations with cars are mostly over. They all break eventually. Or rust away.

Year I graduated high schoolWhat do you like about the ‘78 over other years?
I know 74 and later were disc brakes up front and rear door updates.
Just like the sound of it and those funky headlights. If I'd been able to borrow $10,000 as a new E2 at the presidio of Monterey in 1986, I'd have owned one and been on the autobahn a year later with it.I like a 928. The “American” Porsche. Closest I will ever get to that kind of experience is my Uncle bought a new M-B 450sl, took delivery in Germany and toured Europe with it before shipping it stateside.Just like the sound of it and those funky headlights.
