Yup, you are right about that. Go into a job expecting trouble and guess what you'll find every time. Go into it with the attitude that you'll figure out anything that presents itself and you will figure it out.Positive mental attitude.

I need to do some rear suspension work on my 69 Spider. Everything on that car has been rebuilt except for the rear suspension. It's got new springs and nice Koni's but they are all held together through 54 year old bushings and one of the trailing arms is noticably bent from where someone probably tried to jack the car incorrectly.I replaced the Charger's bushings and added a rear anti sway bar kit that was available. Having grown up on old car roll I was impressed what modern materials can do. I drives like it's on rails today.
These bushings can be either. The sway bar will rotate inside them as the suspension travels.IIRC (and I might not) some bushings spec to be tightened under their intended load, others tightened, unloaded. Been a long time since I sold auto parts so YMMV. It ought to make a positive difference when you're done.
Come on give us a front and side shot of that classic.I replaced the Charger's bushings and added a rear anti sway bar kit that was available. Having grown up on old car roll I was impressed what modern materials can do. I drives like it's on rails today.
