    No, I didn't. I should have.

    I know it weighed about twice as much as the 1911 I was using to cover it when I walked up on it :D

    (That's really a .45 hole behind its shoulder, not a .22... the squirrel was so big that the .22 hole isn't visible :lol:)

    Turned out I had to cook him in the crockpot for 24 hours before he was edible :D

    I have a couple more (smaller) ones that I think may get cooked over a fire...

    I saw one the other day getting fat off of my apple tree, almost that big.

    I'm going to have to see if I can set up safely and take him. The tree is up near the house, and so I'll have to be careful.
