I never take the slide off my Glock. If I need to get to the innards, I just wait for it to explode.

I just bought mine a few days ago and the shop owner threw in this nice barrel stretcher for free! Says it loosens up the spring reel quick. You should getcha one!

I had the same problem as the OP. I finally gave up and sold it then bought a Sig.

That one gave me a good laugh, it actually confused me at first and I had to read it twice.

I'm like "wrestle with what..?" lol

We were all new at one point don't stress it!

Dude, I'd bet you that my wife is more manly than you.

Generally not something I would brag about ;)

I'm still trying to learn the magic eye twitch to transforms this thing into something pretty.

It is the one you use when you look at the target you just shot with it ;)

What problem was that, reading the manual that came with the gun?

Easiest way to get the slide off is fire a round and grab the slide when it's fully back. Twist it just a little, close your left eye, put your tongue in your right nostril, hop on one foot, and do a somersault. You're golden.

I have been there and done that with other guns. After a slew of nothing but cuss words I usually figure it out.

I always throw those away. ;) Seriously though, one of the great things about a Glock is the simplicity of design and that design works very well.

It's not difficult at all to field strip one and it's also relatively easy to detail strip as well. There are plenty of youhoo tube videos out there to demonstrate how it's done.
