My Dad bought a 24/7 in a .40. I thought it was a good shooting gun. He only shot it once, and traded it. For only $400, I would buy one but I do not want a carry weapon with a manual safety. I prefer the ability to decock, or have a trigger safety.
They do make a model with a Decocker built into the safety.
Up = Safety Engaged
Middle (or down on a standard 24/7) = Safety Disengaged
Push Down = Decock.
You can carry it with the safety off and have your decocker.
I don't know if this was simply a "change" in the normal version, or if it was a different model variation. I don't remember. I do remember seeing them when I worked at Bradis.
