T/C ENCORE PISTOL SCOPE FOR 308

I am looking for a economical pistol scope for my ENCORE 308.I have been looking and cant find anything reasonable.I am thinking about just staying with iron sights, my deer hunting range is like 50 yards or so, maybe 100.I cant really afford 200 dollar scopes, just not able to.I also have a 12inch .44 mag barrel for deer.Read a lot of reviews,and I am not seeing many good reviews on any of them really? DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY IDEAS?

Simmons Pro Hunter, but if you're only shooting 50-100 yards I'd stay with the iron sights.

I use Weaver 2.5-8x's and they have held up to several different barrels on my Encores. The Bushnells are also very nice with the Rainguard.

I use an Encore .243 and .308 and I use a Bushnell 3x9x40 and I love it. They are online for anywhere from 89 to 139 it seems. I shot my buck this fall at 220 and that was comfortable. I wouldn't go much past 275 with my eyes. I am sure someone else could.
