Combines a large ferro rod, striker and tinder into a single package. Think of it like a jumbo trench lighter.
4" & 6" sizes.
Currently under $20
Wife uses those scency melts all over the house. She uses cotton balls to soak up the wax when she changes scents. I put those cotton balls in a ziplock bag and use them as fuel to start camp fires.Vaseline soaked cotton balls and a bic lighter. Mapp gas torch with a piezoelectric electric start works really well.
What happens if the lighter runs out of fuel, or is broken, or stops working, and you can't buy one. Which is the whole point of this thread. If I can buy a fire starter tool, I can buy a lighter.
Check out David West on YouTube. He's a fire maker that specializes in stuff like empty Bic fire igniting wet wood. What happens if the lighter runs out of fuel, or is broken, or stops working, and you can't buy one. Which is the whole point of this thread.
Do you have a link?If you cook with olive oil, don’t throw the expired stuff out, it burns very well.
I’ve been playing with some Ferris rods and some of these starters, they have a 30 year shelf life. Had them special ordered at a good price from @Edged Tools
