Yes, thy raced Aneheim last night for the session opener. It will air again today on the speed channel @1:00 Central time.

Also the Indy 1500 will be the same weekend as the Supercross in Indy.. Looks like I'll get a chance to see what the 1500 is all about..

Last year was AWESOME!!! SX and 1500 AND St. Paddys day all on the same day. Guns all morning, then went and checked into the motel, let the boys swim for a while, then wandered around downtown, weaher in the mid 70's, Drunken hotties wandering around showing their "wares" , then the SX at night. We even dodged the evening thunderstorm and the shooting.

Same bat time, same bat channel this year. We have the SAME plans for this year, guns in the morning, dirt bikes at night. Lets hope for the same warm sunny weather as well.

I dunno if its his shifter that caused it...but i did see he had a hell of a wipeout in the heat race.

I go every year to Indy....very cool and worth the time. Go early and watch all the practices and qualifying. Also this year will be the first year they're gonna have the pit party before the races so that will be cool too.

It's been some good racing so far this year, love seeing some different guys winning. Most of the races are live on Speed on Saturday nights, except the ones on CBS, they coverage of them sucks but still worth watching.

Yep, we go every year. We have discussed going early and doing the track walk etc....but we hit the 1500 from time the doors open until it becomes to crowded to deal with it around noon....then we head over to the motel, grab some lunch, let the boys swim, then hit the race....it makes for a LOOOOOOOONG day...but worth it!

Looking like ole Bam bam barcia is picking up where he left off last year in the 250's.

Its not at all like watching it on the tube...just go...and make sure you take some quality optics for viewing the "eye candy".

There's always plenty to see and do...lots of "scenery"

All the practices and time trials keep things rolling pretty steady throughout the day, plus just watching them work and rebuild the track is pretty cool. I think this year they're having a race for 7-8 yr old kids so that might be kinda cool. Plus you can come and go and walk down to the Slippery Noodle and have some beers and food if you get too bored, it's only a block or two away.

We missed last year, (went to the nuclear cowboys in Cincinnati instead). But in the past we always got their just a bit early. There is aways something going on, on the track, and behind the seats at all the t-shirt booths, it's a mad house (but in a good way).

Also the 1500 in the same week end. Were going to the race on Saturday, and the 1500 on Sunday this year.

CBS coverage sucks

Man I hate it when the races are on CBS...you don't get to see all the heat races, they skip a bunch and hardly any of the LCQ. And of course it's not live or even the same day. Sooooo much better on SPEED.
