I don't know how I would describe the smell, but pine needles does not come to mind.The devils don't really stink until you squish them.

Same. Bought the FJB tactical fly swatter midnight death color.. it seems to work well. It kills their freedom quite wellKilled 9 of them the last couple days. Around the front door mainly, gets opened a lot with grandkids and the dog.
Hate them.
