Dusted off the bench today and loaded some 44 special. Already had the brass ready. Now I got a bunch of cases to prep for a few calibers. I've let my supply get low.
Punched out the remaining 300gr .44 Mag XTP's I had in stock for the T.C. Subsonic pistol experiment and reloaded the remaining 45 Colt brass I had on hand for baby girls rifle.
Need to pick up some more 45 Colt brass as I have found I am lacking!!!
On a side note. I recently picked up some old 45 Colt brass from a buddy that won't fit in the case holder on my loader?? The rim is wider than any other 45 Colt brass that I own. Any thoughts as to what I am looking at?
I had plans to use this past 2 weeks to do brass prep & load for my seldom fired guns. My gun room is a 10x27 room on the corner of the house. The room goes unheated unless I want to work in it. This week, it was a balmy 22 degrees out there. What am I reloading? Not a darn thing....
Got through 500 rounds of .45 ACP (230 RN), and then got distracted and got too tired to go back down. I have 200 rounds more to complete to fill the MTM ammo can.
Pulled down some 300BLK reloads (sold the rifle), scavenged the bullets for my 308, and reused the powder for 50 rounds of 357 and 2 different loads of 44 mag, 50 rounds each.
Next up is Sierra 125 grainers to try out in the .31-08 in case I get snipish on a coyote.
Speaking of which, this week the wife and I were headed up 39 towards North Judson and off in a field was what for all the world looked like a white coyote.
Could have been somebody's white dog? Freezing his self out there for why and what? Beats me.
Sure looked like a yote except for the camo.
