I loaded 700 rounds of 158 gr .38's a couple weekends ago. They basically filled a .30 cal ammo can.
The next weekend I finished loading about 750 rounds of plinking .308 ammo and now I'm working on stocking up on some 245 gr .300 blk. After that, I'll do some 125 gr .300 blk and then get started on a hood bit of 9mm
I recently purchased a S&W M&P10 and looking to reload the 38, what is your source for and type of projectiles? What press are you running on?
A week earlier I ran 500) 357 MAGNUM, 158 gr FMJ RN (RMR), over 16.3 gr of W296. Anyone know a good economical source for 357 FMJ's? RMR no longer offers these(wish I would have purchased more @ $.10 each), and I like to run my magnums (357 & 44) with a FMJ as opposed to the copper plated one from RMR & Xtreme.
I just don't get it! I have just started down this reloading path, and I have a YUUUUUGE problem already. My log tells me that as of today, I have loaded 467 rounds of 9mm cartridges. But the problem is, they keep magically disappearing! Seriously! Something is definitely wrong here and I am not exactly sure what it is.
One hint seems to be that they are turning into holes in paper. Not sure if that is pertinent or not, but it seems to be a pattern that I must investigate to figure out what is going on here!
I guess I will have to keep loading more to see if I can see what is happening!
