That`s just outstanding.Yep, my mom (who lived to be 99) used to say, "If I keep moving, the grim reaper won't catch me!"

She was an amazing woman. Her downfall came with the Covid lockdowns. She was always active in her assisted living facility, had friends visit her (and she would visit friends when my sister would take her). When the lockdown occurred (she couldn't leave her room, and nobody could visit), she went downhill quickly. I will never forgive the bastards that instituted that crap. That`s just outstanding.
I pray that she was born again. I would guess yes.She was an amazing woman. Her downfall came with the Covid lockdowns. Didn't have to be. She was a believer all along. Her faith gave her great comfort.I pray that she was born again. I would guess yes.
So few times have I ever heard anything that brought such great comfort.Didn't have to be. She was a believer all along. Her faith gave her great comfort.
For the past couple years, I have been doing bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, sit, ups, lunges, and planks. A trainer friend of mine has helped me learn the correct form of these exercises as well as developing a workout plan (number of reps, sets, and rest intervals)I have changed up from my younger days of doing higher weights with lower reps to lower weights with higher reps. They results have been great for me.
Ouch!60 is not old...
...if you're a tree!
So am I doing something wrong? My home exercise equipment while nothing fancy some are even thrift store finds require service every so often. But I guess may use their exercise equipment for clothes racks. For the past couple years, I have been doing bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, sit, ups, lunges, and planks. This has worked well for me since I never felt like investing in exercise equipment that is likely to just gather dust like many treadmill’s in basements and garages.
When you only use them as a coat rack they don't need oiling nearly as often. So am I doing something wrong? My home exercise equipment while nothing fancy some are even thrift store finds require service every so often. But I guess may use their exercise equipment for clothes racks.
I'll be 60 next month... Old or not, I'm a lot slower and weaker than I was 15 or so years back. We hire high school kids odten to help with stuff around the house. Sometimes for free. ( they may be earning "government hrs" for school by helping out a disabled veteran) Oh, on the disabled front... getting my truck blown out from under me in Iraq might have something to do with me feeling slower, and weaker these days too... but yeah, I'm old.
But I'm like, "cool old" you know.
As in I grew up with muscle cars and all the great rock bands.
