    A good strategy. The trick is to limit how much you hit as you get lower.

    You don't want to hit a whole bunch of air all at once at 600+ mph.


    He was kind of spinning out of control early on..... I think that's why
    the cut back to mission control during the descent until he straightened out... they probably
    didn't want him to come apart at the seams with 8 million people watching.

    A holler in Kentucky
    For those of you wondering what Felix Baumgartner said before he took his leap. He said this, “I know the whole world is watching now. And I wish the world could see what I can see. Sometimes you have to get up really high to understand how small you really are. I’m going home now.” These words are equal in my opinion to what Neil Armstrong said when he stepped on the moon, amazing accomplishment by man kind supersonic from free fall.....wow.
    That's very cool! The more I read about this, and the more I re watch it, and Kittingers jump, the more awesome it gets.:yesway:
