SCCC had its first USPSA match at the new range location on 7/28. They had a classifier match and had 52 shooters. The weather did not cooperate as it poured at the start and then a on/off drizzle rest of the day.
They are only using 4 bays until the other bays are up and running so they are restricted to 4 squads and that limits the number of shooters. The weather kept some shooters away but they had several walk on shooters so it was almost a full match.
The new crew running the match did a great job and I can't wait to see the field course's they come up with in the coming months.
Hoping the other bays are up and running in a month or two so they can expand to more stages and squads.

To those that don't know SCCC has
IDPA first Saturday of the month.
Steel Challenge is the forth Saturday of the month.
USPSA is the forth Sunday of the month for the rest of this year and the plan is to move USPSA to the second weekend of the month with setup and shoots Friday and Saturday. (Tentatively)

Come out and shoot with us.
Thanks to all those that make the SCCC shoots happen.
Actually THANKS to all the ones that put in the work to make shoots happen at all the clubs.

What will happen to Steel Challenge, if USPSA shoots their main match on Saturday?
