Friend just texted me, shootout at Brownsburg exit I-74, about 40 cops there… Anyone heard anything?

A man is dead after being shot near 96th Street and Allisonville Road in Castleton, according to IMPD.

It used to be confined within 465 but now it’s spreading like a plague. When I moved to Avon about 7 years ago I never heard a siren but now I hear thump thump “music” and sirens daily. Shootings on the news are just all to common anymore. Looking at property in Northern Wisconsin.

Last night there was a chase on 56th street from Indy to Brownsburg that ended with a crash and guns drawn.

In the last handful a months there has been a verizon store, dunkin doughnuts, and a bank robbed in Brownsburg.

I know criminals aren’t particularly smart, but running to Brownsburg? Nothing like running to a place with a well funded, well-equipped, and aggressive police department, no?

Sign of the times. I've been going to Sam's Club on the Westside for a couple decades. The place has really changed in the past few years. They now have security guards. I need to go check out that new Costco.

Beats me. Sounded like it started as a routine traffic stop and he turned it into a chase. Haven't heard mention of any outstanding warrants or anything so far.
