Bought myself and my sons each a pair of black/gray latex coated nit stretch gloves at Manards for under $6 each and they fit like they were sprayed on and work fantastic. I only use them for lengthy all day shooting sessions, especially when shooting my HG's. I don't see how much better a glove could be had. My HG's stay put in my grip like it's crazy glued in place.
I like Hatch brand when I choose to use gloves, they have a variety of different types, that provide different levels of thickness and grip. The ones I use are not padded, but the layer still makes for a decent amount of reduction in recoil. Of course, Hogue or Pachmayr recoil reducing grips or grip sleeves also can contribute to significant reduction. I have a 44 with S&W original equipment rubberized recoil reduction grips. They're awesome, don't need gloves. Man hands . . . hmmm, does that mean chubby or calloused? Do man hands shoot a 460V with wood grips?
