Are the Amish packing heat?
Very doubtful, but they do buy handguns for hunting and use around the farm.

Interesting. I would have thought their pacifist nature would not allow them to own firearms, hence my suprise there is a gun show up in Shipshewana since that is the heart of Amish country in northern Indiana
The Glock Doc is coming up North for a couple shows if you need your glock worked on or parts for it. He will be at the Shipshewana Gun Show Nov 3 & 4 and also at the Michigan City Gun & Knife show at the Blue Chip Casino on November 17 & 18.Yes though the Shipshewana show is a Fri-Sat show and the South Bend show is a Sat-Sun show(with an auto parts swap&show on Sun).
In fact there are shows in NE IN the next 6 weekends in a row
Lagrange 500 Sep 28-29(Fr-Sa)
Shipshe 500 Oct 5-6(Fr-Sa)
South Bend Oct 6-7(Sa-Sun)
Ft Wayne Oct 13-14(Sa-Su)
Kendallville Oct 13(Sa)
Elkhart 500 Oct 19-21(Fr-Su)
Allen Co Oct 21(Su)
Nappanee Oct 27(Sa)
Shipshe Nov 3-4(Sa-Sun)
Ft Wayne 500 Nov 2-4(Fr-Su)
All the 500 shows are Gun Slinger. All the rest except Nappanee & Allen Co & Kendallville, are CPI.
I will be good for the Amish, they do not shop on Sunday anyway. And many aren't working on Fridays either, even then most lines at the RV factories are done by 2:00 pm.
My father in law was Amish up till he was 16. He grew up around there, you would be surprised how many Amish have guns. Haha
Bit of sa downturn this time. No line, not crowded as usual, some empty tables.
