Lots of people in Fishers tonight. Easily 250-300 people.

It appears most arrived to support preserving the tracks. Still waiting on the meeting to start though.

I had the pleasure of taking a firld trip up there where the opperators allowed us the bus drivers to ride in the locomotive. Was a great experience and i have signed the petition.

What a waste of time. There was no meeting. It was billed as a listening session but there was no one to listen to. There were no members of the city council, no developers or planners presenting the project. Just a guy from the Parks Department in fancy jeans at a small folding table and a map with a red line marking the Nickle Plate line.

I sat and waited for more than 30 minutes before being told there was no formal meeting. Just hundreds of people milling around talking and getting no info.

I went in with an open mind and a desire to hear a proposal, but it was clear the City of Fishers had no desire to actually inform us about anything.
