The article says that Locke will have no other duties besides punting. I wonder who'll hold the ball for Adam Vinatieri? I see that as important for the success of field goals and extra point attempts.

Thanks. I must have missed that part. It makes perfect sense.From the article:
"Like McAfee, Locke was the holder in Minnesota.
The kickoff part of Locke’s duties would be the only additional thing he will be expected to take on with the Colts."
That would mean that he is going to do the punting and be the holder, just like he was with the Vikings, as well as now doing kickoffs too.
I'm cautiously optimistic for the season
