You have way more confidence in them than I do. This is one case where their ineptitude could play out in our favor for a change.doesn't mean that the State Dept. isn't smart enough (unfortunately) to figure it out

I suspect the wholesalers and retailers that had it in stock or available on-line, pulled it to adjust pricing. It's back up now, but prices have jumped a bunch.
That is crazy...I haven't seen any Russian brass available for a few days. The price was normal places I'd looked.People are buying Russian steel case even when none Russian brass case ammo is cheaper. I find that crazy.
I feel you brother. But it isn't going to stop.Took the leap and ordered some just now. This chasing ammo crap is getting old.
Was at Rural king they had brass case 9mm IIRC S&B or Geco can't remember right now and some Tula 9mm steel case. The brass case ammo was $25 a box and the steel case was $27 a box and people were buying the tula up.That is crazy...I haven't seen any Russian brass available for a few days. Maybe the steel case will hold some magical 'collector value' in 10 yearsPeople are buying Russian steel case even when none Russian brass case ammo is cheaper. I find that crazy.
I think JeffYour standard of living is being reduced, if you shoot, if you drive, if you eat, etc. Next will come the higher taxes.
Maybe somebody's economy is getting better, but it sure isn't mine.
You are correct sir. The NWO is to make ammo so expensive that only the well to do will be able to buy it. We may own guns, but not be able to use them.I feel you brother. But it isn't going to stop.

?That brass stuff isn't Russian. Geco is owned by RUAG in Switzerland, and has been made in Germany, Hungary, and other EU states. S&B is Czech. Then you have some Serbian options like PPU and Bolom. All make brass 7.62x39, but none are Russian.
Lol you just caught something I didn't. I typed non and my phone changed it to none lol. I fixed it lol.Wait, I just reread your post I quoted and caught the "none." Guessing you meant "non" Russian?
Some of the brass case is Berdan primed with corrosive primers... Six of one, half dozen of the other...People are buying Russian steel case even when non Russian brass case ammo is cheaper. I find that crazy.
