Your version seems a bit one-sided. The reality seems to be neither side is very savory and who is pushing who does not seem terribly clear. Both sides have neo-Nazis with pro-Ukraine seeming to have more, but pro-Russia has the religious fanatics who believe they are on a holy mission for the ROCIn short 10k died in 8 years in Donetsk and Luhan, mostly from being shelled.
I posted one article here from Time magazine (posted the day before Putin invaded) that mentioned 1400 shells fell in a single day the very last report of the OSCE before Putin invaded(yes they had observers from 57 countries in Ukraine, including the USA).
In total 14k died in 8 years,of those over 10k were residents of Donetsk and Luhan.
OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (closed)
The SMMwas deployed following a request to the OSCE by Ukraine’s Government and a consensus decision by all 57 OSCE participating States. The SMM was an unarmed, civilian mission, operating on the ground 24/7 Ukraine.www.osce.org
Yes it is a total pain in the ass to read them, and you will have to click on things like "read all reports" because no matter their mission most of the reports are not easily found now, though they are still there for the time being. You will also notice a huge change in the reports in 2021 it became more about Russia than anything else.
In short Ukraine has been on again off again shelling the **** out of those two cities/areas.In times they where not(there was more than one cease fire) the National police, and a 5000 strong "volunteer" group (also known as brown coats) disappeared, raped over 1400 in those two areas, not to even mention the looting of homes and businesses(per the OSCE by reports they collected). Now if you want to more about the National police of Ukraine it is run by Ihor Klymenko a former Svoboda party member and 100% totally a Nazi. You will find very little information on the National Police after it was founded and took in "militsiya" Nov 7,2015(Nazi's of the Maiden revolution).
Over 200,000 had fled to Russia in the 8 years before Putin arrived, and according to Time magazine both regions where expected to evacuate to Russia(around 300-400k more according to article if memory serves,i did not scroll back in the thread to find it).
What did we do those 8 years? We observed, and armed one side(Russia armed the other). Mind you we voted with the UN for Donetsk and Luhan to be independent states(they were self governing and technically, legally not even part of Ukraines national government).
So either read the reports(while they are still up going back to shortly after maiden,or just accept the spoon feed ******** you are being feed.
I am tired. Honestly I want to ignore all of this. Knowing just how in the wrong we really are and how misleading what we are being told is kind of sucks. I may not post in this thread again.
The DPR has seen regular skirmishes with Ukrainian forces over the years, and increasingly in recent months. The official line holds that Ukraine is the aggressor, however, the reality is likely culpability of both forces with Russian instigation to justify its invasion. Additionally, the political instability is an unintended boon for Russian plausible deniability, as it can simply dismiss accusations against the pro-Russian side as rogue elements of young independent government.
Hypothetical question. Say somehow this (or China/Taiwan) goes to ww3, but not nuclear, I'm 31, average health, probably overweight. What are the chances I'd be drafted if they extended the age?
If the fighting is over seas probably very low. Foreign troops attacking mainland United States close to 100%.Hypothetical question. Say somehow this (or China/Taiwan) goes to ww3, but not nuclear, I'm 31, average health, probably overweight. What are the chances I'd be drafted if they extended the age?
I heard on the local news he is "mentioning" nukes again... Sounds like we just have to give him anything he wants. We have no choice.
"I'm not scared of dyingAnd someone out there with nukes isn't afraid of dying or having large chunks of their population be evaporated.
ATN sent the Ukrainians some fancy new hardware..
Are you a male?Hypothetical question. Say somehow this (or China/Taiwan) goes to ww3, but not nuclear, I'm 31, average health, probably overweight. What are the chances I'd be drafted if they extended the age?
Wait, I thought this was a more inclusive military? So we still only draft males? Are you a male?
Rumor is there several options to check sex wise that may exclude you.
This sh!t wouldnt be going on it the election wasnt rigged.I don't see Ukraine winning this war unless NATO gets involved with troops in the fight. It's just a matter of time. I commend the Ukrainian people on the will done fight so far.
Sounded like a 4th grader giving a report after not really doing the homework.Kamala Harris to travel to Poland amid Russia-Ukraine war
Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Poland Monday, where American troops are stationed to assist with Ukrainian refugees.www.foxnews.com
What could possibly go wrong?
PS: Comments are the best part of the article:
Kamala Harris went to Poland. Poland is a country in Europe. It is next to Germany, which is a slightly bigger country. It is also near Lithuania. Lithuania is also a country, but it is a smaller country. All these countries border the Baltic Sea. You could cross the Baltic Sea if you had a boat, but then you would be in a different country.
Wondering if the Russian military keeps attacking nuclear plants if it might trigger a Direct NATO response to try and prevent a nuclear event from affecting the whole region. It just doesn’t make any sense why they are shelling the plants because it would affect Russia as well.
ATN sent the Ukrainians some fancy new hardware..
Media isn't feeding lies. Everything I've seen discussed potential risks and recklessness of attacking these nuclear power plants, not that there were any ongoing meltdowns. The media has. said repeatedly there isn't any higher than normal radiation levels. Besides, the Ukrainians aren't picking these locations for the heck of it; the Russians are attacking them and the Ukrainians are defending them for obvious reasons. From the information I've seen, radiation levels are extremely low and the media is feeding people a steaming pile, preying on the public's lack of understanding of radiation measurements and risk.
Maybe Ukrainians shouldn't fight from locations that might pose a danger if it gets shelled? Either way, I legitimately have no concerns of a nuclear problem from the power plants.
