Hopefully Ruger won’t rush bad quality out the door like Remington did. It would be nice to be able to buy a new marlin again
They couldn’t possibly do any worse than how Marlin was managed before.Ruger owning Marlin and producing the top 2 semi autos would be a massive win for Ruger. I think Ruger can manage Marlin just fine.

+1 to thatI think Ruger is better capable to run Marlin this time around with their history of being able to continually sell quality firearms at a good price
Maybe Ruger can finally build a .22 that doesnt need half the parts upgraded?
Nah I think they should keep the Marlin name.Time to get rid of the marlin name and just put Ruger in its place as well. Ruger 1895 Cowboy 45/70. Sounds pretty good to me.
There are some interesting items around the edges on this acquisition and Ruger will dominate .22lr rifles, but it would have been much better if they had purchased the main Remington brand.. Ruger isn't well known for their shotguns and rebuilding a solid competitor to Mossberg would be far more interesting.
Ruger Red Label over & unders? Pretty well known.
