I'm looking for one and it seems to be somewhat hard to come by, does anyone remember seeing one at the 1500? If so, any chance you remember which booth had it or at least where it was in the building?

    Thanks!

I saw two of them Friday while I was at the 1500. One was $699 and the other was $749. I didn't see anyone jumping to buy one either.

Really? I was at the 1500 Friday and I thought I would have seen them. I normally scan all the handguns pretty well. I already have a SR1911, but I normally keep an eye out anyway.

We were there early Friday and saw the two. I wasn't looking for one, but a buddy I was with pointed them out. He bought his for 599 and was pointing out how much more the dealers wanted for theirs.

Interesting... Yeah, I got mine for $599 too, but I consider myself lucky to have done that well. I was just hoping to snag the first one I found <$650. That's where I had drawn my line.

The only one I saw was $799 from a dealer, nothing like charging $50 more than the MRSP... I did find myself a nice S&W Commander but still keeping my eye open for an SR1911 at a reasonable price.
