I got a WC 22lb but the way it throws brass may have to go 24lb. I hope the FPB helps out in the brass ejection department. I'd really like to stand up and shoot without trying to find my brass 30+ feet away.Got my 22lb recoil spring, hope to find time to install in the next week or so. I hate honey do lists, they interfere with important stuff like range time and reloading.
The 155gr XTP were a little on the strong side. I had a Glock 20sf I shot these in and the 1911 platform actually calmed it down a lot on felt recoil. I still need to adjust the rear sight and move it right a little more it is shooting left. I keep adjusting it but forgot to bring my little screw driver this outing.Sweet piece. I've never shot a 1911 in 10mm. I just got my first rock island earlier this year it's a 9mm gi and so far it's a great value for its price point.
Lan...Lan...Lanolin? Like sheep's wool? When you are twisting your firearm inside it keeps it from messing with the finish and helps in rotation. After that I leave it in my holster with firearm for about 30 minutes and check again to see if it's too tight, and if it is I repeat the process. I use lanolin on the outside of my holster. I probably should use it inside also but it takes awhile for it to soak in. Right now I'm wanting to break in my firearm after that's done I'll put lanolin inside and out let it set awhile by the wood stove. Seems to help it soak in better.
Yep that lanolin.Lan...Lan...Lanolin? Like sheep's wool?
Sorry...cheap Anchorman reference.
Enjoy your pistol!
Put another 100rds through it today. I think I have it zeroed finally.

180gr Hoosier Bullets 7.9gr AutoComp
Avg FPS: 1224 Energy FT LBs:
598 Target above was my final 9rd magazine.
The above I drew and fired 1 shot repeat target distance 21'. Working on my draw and getting my holster worn in. Cocked and locked each time to make it just like I would have to draw in a real situation. Pull my shirt up draw take it off safety and put a shot on target. Right now I'm running around 2.5 seconds and that is to slow for my liking. Going to take a lot more practice.
Total round count now 550rds. Still shooting good. Oh the trigger is really good now. I'd say it's close to 3.5-4lbs factory trigger no trigger work done on it. It really is getting smooth and a nice crisp brake.
You're welcome. They work great.Glad to hear the Hoosier Bullets are working in the 10mm. Thanks for putting your testing results on here, I have been using it is a reference to answer some of my customers.
