The cylinder has a ring about 3/4 the way down.If it doesn’t say on the barrel (which I’m not seeing it) if the chambers are straight I’d presume a 32 of some sort. If it tapers like a bottle neck I’d say a 32-20
How do you spell Caliber in Spanish?I’m going out on a limb and saying Orbea Hermanos…. A Spanish copy of the S&W.
It is definitely a Orbea Hermanos as NS said. How do you spell Caliber in Spanish?
I tried a 38 S&W shell and it would not fit.It is definitely a Orbea Hermanos as NS said.
When you say smaller than 38 do you mean diameter or length?
If length it is more than likely 38 S&W
Would not fit how? To long? To big around?I tried a 38 S&W shell and it would not fit.
It could be 8mm revolver or 32-20 then. The .38 cartridge I grabbed is too big in diameter to go in the cylinder. We tried one at a gun shop yesterday too.
It sure looks like the picture of the Model 25 in 38 that came up in google.
Good call some were bought during WWI and were in am 8mm chambering that had mare of a sharp shoulder. They would chamber and shoot 32-20 but fired brass would be odd.It could be 8mm revolver or 32-20 then.
I'm not sure what model 25 you're referencing.
