Those little Savage 22s are a blast aren't they.

    Indeed they are!

I built mine as a bolt gun practice rifle. I blame bigcraig because he did it first! :)

I got mine courtesy of shooter521 and put a BSA "sweet 22" scope on it. I've only been able to dial it in at 50 yards so far but it's a tac driver. Can't wait to "stretch" it's little legs, LOL

It was actually my wife's first time shooting a bolt action, scope, and from prone. LOL She LOVED it. I told her just wait till she's ready for big boy toy at a distance.

If it was me i would put a swinger target behind it on a long rod/flag. When ya go through the hole it hits the back target and waves the flag....all steel of course The long part sticking up above the current mounting rod would be what you see so you know when you hit the center.

i drew up a CRAPPY paint sketch of what i was thinking....

You are a genius! I have the H2Targets material for this. I just have to be careful not to blow up the stand! :D

be careful. as 2 pounds of the h2 did indeed BEND a 10" square plate from bobcat. i was like.. :n00b:. guess i ought to put 2 pounds on the opposite side...

keep it safe all. excellent idea LMW. :yesway:

Great review LMW. Bobcat does have some fantastic targets.I like the idea of the second target as a swinger/flag. That would be pretty cool to use.

If LMW will get Bobcat to cut the steel i will help him set it up out there at his place. I dont live very far from it.

I NEED one of these now, a four inch round would be perfect behind because they have a very distinct ring. Awesome idea! Thanks for sharing!

    I personally wont buy this.

I have gotten all excited about things with holes in them before and ended up dissapointed.
