Wow! It is often alleged that Republicans crave power but these actions certainly do nothing to create power for Republicans, may for individuals but not the whole party. First Ohio republicans are trying to eliminate the district of a Trump supporter and thereby reduce republican districts, then Missouri republicans are reducing republican districts, and we now learn that the republican speaker in Wisconsin made in illegal agreement with democrats to place ballot boxes out, and is doing it again. The COC republicans as jamil calls them are openly sabotaging the party, acting like chemotherapy to kill the true conservative republicans.

There`s no such thing that I`ve ever found, as the perfect candidate much less a perfect party. If only there were. The fact is, even those of us who have so much in common, don`t agree on a great many of the finer points of the issues and of government. I only wish there were a party that would adhere strictly to the United States Constitution. That`s supposed to be the framework of our government, and supposedly our elected employees honor an oath to protect and defend that Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. In a great too many instances, these elected employees have become the very domestic enemies of the Constitution they swore and oath to defend it against.
The GOP is far from perfect, and of course the party is littered with RINO`s, but this group of people is head and shoulders better than that other party, that is all for butchering infants in the womb, open, porous borders, socialism and government intrusion, unfettered spending, and despises your First, Second and Fourth Amendment rights. I would go so far as to say that the entity that calls itself the democratic party is a direct threat to the United States and a domestic terrorist threat the like of which we`ve never seen.

Your comment is amazingly accurate. I can`t believe how many people I hear complain that we aren`t willing to "compromise". I point out that that we`ve compromised so often, and so much, that we just have nothing left to compromise. In fact, we must regain ground we`ve given up and lost. We`ve given up entirely too much of our principles and values.
