Did you not sign up for electronic prints thru MorphoTrust ? If not, it's not too late. You can call them and set an appointment.
Thank you, that's exactly what I did. I setup an appointment for the same day. It was extremely quick and easy. I went today and paid my local fee at city county building, now the waiting game...
I'm doing my fingerprinting downtown on Friday- Does the ISP take cash or just money orders or cashier's checks? I'd rather not go through the hassle of having to get one.
I have a 4yr LTCH, (I know, shoulda did the Lifetime) that isn't going to expire for another year and a half. I am moving soon to a new residence and will have to change my address on my LTCH. Can I just go ahead and apply for a lifetime when doing the address change or, will I have to do the address change and then reapply later for the Lifetime LTCH? Thanx for helping!
i guess i will post the question in this thread, i applied and had everything done electronically on 3/5/14 i know it sat it my local police for about a week before they sent it downstate, well as of 3/20 i still had not hear anything so i had a cop buddy of mine run me to check the status, well when he pulled up my info it shows that my app is there but the status says "Unresolved" anybody have any idea what this means pertaining to the process and would it help if i called them and asked about it? I did have a license about 18 years ago but went to renew it in the middle of a nasty divorce back then and it was denied, i just let it go since i was dealing with all the other stuff. i have posted more about this in LTCH wait time thread but was refered over to this thread for more info but i see nothing about "Unresolved" think i could accomplish anything by call them on Monday? i have never been arrested or convicted of anything as far as i know i have a clean record. any advice or has anybody seen this before any info appreciated.

Just a general suggestion for anyone making the new application... Be absolutely sure of your previous arrests, and records, especially the OLD ones. I just finished an appeal process because the applicant had forgotten (it was back in "wilder times" and he really had NO recollection of the incident...) to inform them of an assault charge from 1972!!! (probably a bar fight, who knows... I cant even find the records...)
When they mean everything the ISP means everything!!! It wasn't that the charge was the issue...
It is that under IC 35-47-1-7 a "proper person" is one who: (7) does not make a false statement of material fact on the person's application...
They made the denial BECAUSE it is a sworn oath submission and therefore construed as misinformation...
So bottom line... If you had a period of "wilder times" as in "I was so wasted I dont even remember the incident" it might be a good idea to have a background check run on yourself... Also note that the ISP uses the FBI database, and of course like any good governmental agency, they save everything.... forever !!!
Be safe,
What they are looking for is mistruths or omissions, thereby making you an improper person. If the offense is noted, the actual difference between an arrest date and offense date is easily clarified either on the application, or through the appeal process. As long as you have the offense noted...
(Im surprised however, that you would not take advantage of the lifetime for the difference of only 20 bucks... Keep in mind you have to renew it and having an expired LTCH is as bad as never having one in the future...)
