Remington 788's

What's your opinion on this rifle? I own a 243 and a 22-250 and love them, just wanting to hear other people's opinions on this model

788's are great guns! you don't See them on the shelfs at gun shopes much because people would buy them rather than the 700's and that is why Rem stopped building them!! because there sales of the 700's were down until they discontinued the 788's I own one in 308

+1 on that but I have one in 22250

they are ugly, and they don't fit any of the reasons that rifle's shoot well

but they shoot well,

i have a 44 mag ,sold my 223 to a member on here.a little hard to load clips,but they shoot well

My 223 is exceptionally accurate, much more so than the quivering mass of humanity behind the trigger.

Like mine in .222 just fine.

got one in .222 and one in .223 and love em. Put a replacement trigger in the .223 and made it more lovable.
