Rear sight for Remington 600

My brother picked up a nice old 600 but it needs a rear sight. He doesn't do computers so he asked me to find him a rear sight. I've done the usual searches without success. I'm wondering if some other Remington rear sight might interchange. Any help would be appreciated.

You might try Ebay. I found parts for older firearms on there, including sights for a older Remington 788

A Williams Guide receiver sight, available from Brownells, makes a good cost effective option.

Numrich is my go to for older stuff. You could always scope it.

Thanks guys, he will end up with a scope but wants to put it back like it came when new.

On a 600 with no rib, a regular 700/760/742 rear sight should work (6-48 screws).
Think folding leaf w elevator or ramp style, either will work.
