thank you. this is the feedback I am looking for.Whatever range finder you look at, the advertised ranges have to be taken with a grain of salt. Those values are taken under ideal reflective targets and conditions.
I bought a vortex razor after watching video reviews of how it actually performed in the field by independent reviewers. I wanted a range finder for over 1k yards on non reflective targets.
I tried/borrowed lower cost range finders and they worked well but a reduced ranges.
