Nah, bears have a super sense of smell, much better than dogs even, so they know what stinks - they just don't give a crap.

Having super keen sense of smell doesn't mean the smell has to be perceived as bad. Besides. We're talking about a bear who is a bit of a narcissist. So he perceives the smell of his own **** as if it were honey droppings he bestows upon the world for their own pleasure.

Yes. Don't worry though. If you're in the city, most of someone else's poop is filtered out. If you're in the country, it's filtered out by nature. And hopefully sped along by a good septic system. Or, with modern $filtering$ you can get pretty darn close to 0 TDS.
