Honestly though you are going to see some "special" people there, but that doesn't mean its not a clean place. And your Plasma goes to a good cause, my nephew has immune deficiencies and has needed plasma on multiple occasions.
Yea I donate regularly to red cross. I heard of said "special" people, but I am confident nothing will come of it besides easy money. And as stated it does go to a good cause. I try to help when I can
If you have the time donating plasma is a way to do it. I did it in college and I ve done it again as recently as a year or so ago and I would continue to do it if I could justify the time. See if you have a www.biolifeplasma.com close to where you live. We have one in Elkhart its a very nice place. They pay you on a debit card. Works really nice that way you can order on line or what ever you want to do and the wife will be none the wiser Be sure to be hydrated before going in it makes it go faster. (on water no sodas or beer, just saying) Also you need to be a healthy eater if you do it for a while and your proteins are not up they reject you and you have to try again later. You just have to figure out if the time invested is worth the payout. I used it as time to myself and would read my latest gun porn magazine. But during hay season I can easily out do plasma. Good luck
Never pan handle gotta contribute to society somehow, figure this at least makes a difference in someone's life, like mine lol big ol grin Ill have when this thing is done
I've done it. Realistically takes a couple of hours and I personally think cash is nice to have. Do it once a week and you'll have made a grand in a yr
Well, having given plasma, the $50 is after several visits, at least to the few places here in Indy. First, I was given $20 for a few hours of "work" (being there, getting poked, and hanging around). Only after like 5 visits or something equally as stupid would I get the money.
Honestly, all the plasma places I had the distinct displeasure of being in, I would not risk it. Given the folks I saw were the same mentality as McDonalds line workers and everyone knows how many times they screw up your order... Heck, the second time, the lady there missed my vein twice... all while listening to a really shakey guy telling me the horrid things he did for money for booze (and believe me, I thought I was a man of the world, not after that point...)
Get a second job or better yet, keep saving up if you want an AR.
Need a first job before I can get a second one lol I just moved here and have been living on savings, which are dwindling. If anyone knows a place that likes navy vets....
To heck with anyone trying to down you for doing this... Go for it and thank you for your service. I don't see anything wrong with funding your hobby this way. Hopefully you can find a good place of employment soon, but this economy isn't very forgiving for everyone and transitioning out of the military back to a civilian life isn't always as simple as it seems.
Good luck.... If you are going to donate, look for a good place. I've never done it... but there is a place here in Elkhart that doesn't look all that bad to me.
