Okay. Obviously, this is just my opinion. It may not hold true for everyone.
    But...

    Sights
I seem to have to tilt my head a little more than is "natural" or "comfortable" for sight alignment.

    Bang
The gun seems to bang my cheek/face more than a PCC has a right to.
I've seen some add-on cushions for the cheek weld that I'm thinking of getting.

Yes, the sights take some getting used to. And the stock cover/cheek pad helps. Assembly must be done carefully, by the instructions, or you risk losing a detent spring that will fly out and simply vanish. I am not at all happy that I know his.

So, now I need to decide if I want to use the carbine length hand guard, and recess the suppressor, like MAC

Or, go with a shorter guard like this

    I'm thinking "shorter"

    I think shorter too.
I will be going through the same decision soon. I back ordered a carbine from my distributor a couple days ago.
Once it gets here and gets cut down I want the option to shoot it unsupressed also

Are you cutting the barrel down, or doing it yourself?

I will be doing it myself. I am going to buy the barrel nut tool, I don't know if that would help you or not

Well, basically I'm looking for someone to cut mine down.
Chez pointed out a place online, but I've seen your work on INGO.
I'd rather drive down and give someone $$ that knows what they're doing, then send it to an unknown company.
If you'd want to do the work.

I still have a ways to go. Just got fingerprints yesterday. Today hopefully passport photos.

    It begins

Have to completely disassemble it to get to the barrel trunion or whatever CZ calls it. But it is not to hard to take apart.

at this point I am staying with the long handguard mostly due to lack of funds but I do like the way MAC's looks. I have the same suppressor coming as he used.

I just ordered a handguard from HB Industries.
    I ordered the 6.84" angle
    HBI-CZ-Scorpion-Handguard-Pistol-Length-600x530.jpg

I just odered it yesterday, and I received an email today that it said "scheduled to be shipped, wait 24 hours to check shipping status".
They have a couple different sizes/styles.

Okay. I just realized how badly I put this sentence together.

I meant to say, Are you cutting the barrel down, or buying a pistol barrel?
I was wondering if I should order a pistol barrel?

I cut my barrel down to 8.5" and threaded it today. There is a small trunion on the end of the barrel that is semi staked and loctite on according to CZ fourunatly I was able to modify my barrel fixture some and I did not have to remove the trunion. It worked out nice.
I just need the omega 9k now and it will be done.

In the meantime I have a Huntertown Arms I can run on it.

In short I can cut and crown the barrel but how much is a pistol barr?

You would save money but cutting and threading your existing barrel but that does look nice

I thought it would be nice to have a barrel to swap out.
But... doesn't look like it's an easy swap.
So maybe I'll just meet with you to cut it down.

I have awhile. Just put paperwork in mail a little while ago.

    Yesterday was a good day.
I received my new handguard from HK Industries, AND my Sparc II from A&A Optics.

I'll try to remember to post pics after I get done with these back to back double shifts at work.
