That's a pretty zoomed in pic. He was about 12-15" long. Feisty though when I grabbed him to relocate back outside. Not sure what kind of snake it is. Almost seemed to be Albino.WTH??
She ate the male after breeding. The whole thing! Is that the same "guy" as in your earlier pic, or is she just a hungry slut?
That's what I meant... that was the same male in both pics? She ate the male after breeding. The whole thing!
Hence my edit... Looked like an albino python baby to me. If so, hopefully he doesn't survive the winter! That's a pretty zoomed in pic. He was about 12-15" long. Feisty though when I grabbed him to relocate back outside. Not sure what kind of snake it is. Almost seemed to be Albino.
Not the first time I've seen a snake in the shop, but definitely rare. 3 times in 23 years. Will see frogs, mice, raccoons, opossums, and rabbit several times a year. Shop is backed up to railroad tracks with some fairly dense foliage in-between
Google Image search says probably a corn snake.Hence my edit... Looked like an albino python baby to me. If so, hopefully he doesn't survive the winter!
But did she eat him before breeding too?She ate the male after breeding. The whole thing!
I am an expert and think you are correctI thought that too. I'm no expert by any means, but my search with the head markings, stripe down the back, triangle markings doen the body, and IN native lead me to this:
Google Lens does the same thing, but you do have to deal with google and privacy.there is an app called Picture This that can identify plants, trees, etc pretty accurately. It’s free but constantly asks you to pay, and hides the transparent “cancel” button in the corner of the screen when it does ask to pay. it’s a bit of a pain to use free like that because they make it annoying but it has really helped me around the homestead. I’ll probably pay for it soon
