Kids are finally a good age to do some exploring and be adventurous. Recently did some floating down Whitewater river, hiking at Clifty falls and Turkey run. View attachment 289645View attachment 289647View attachment 289648View attachment 289649View attachment 289646

I've been fortunate to have a decent amount of outdoor time. To this day, one of my most favored memories is from when I was about the age of your kids there. Older guy from our church (like 22 or so LOL) took me on a 2 day trip on Sugar Creek. We put in around Crawfordsville a bit before day break and made our way down to Shades. We camped in the primitive are and hiked during the day. Put in before daylight the next day and went down to Turkey Run. We were off the creek before folks started showing up. Did some hiking there and then found a guy for hire to haul us back to Crawfordsville.

All these years later, still appreciate what that guy did for me.

Pro tip: Never pass on the opportunity to take a kid on an outdoor adventure.
