IDK, I just spent 6 months shopping for the right deal on a 2013-2014 F150 and saw a LOT with rust. Rust that didn't necessarily show in listing photos but in person was obvious.I think it is a waste of time and money to rustproof a modern car.
All the mechanical parts will go before the car rusts.
Now if it a 1997 Nissan/Toyota/Ford/Chevy.... it will rust. If it's a 2020 I would never bother.
I'd have to disagree. Especially for people like me that tend to drive a vehicle until the wheels fall off. If you're someone that replaces every 3 or 4 years, then yeah. And this is Indiana, so salt is going to be a factor. Untreated metal is going to rust pretty quick.I think it is a waste of time and money to rustproof a modern car.

Ziebart is a disaster. Traps saltwater against frame.Ziebart
Fluid film or Cosmoline. I prefer cosmoline because we all know how tenacious it is.Buy some Fluid Film and do it yourself for a lot less or if you're inclined to not care for the smell of large farm animals use Woolwax Undercoating instead.
