I use the laquer sticks from Brownells.I have white, red, silver, black gold and some funky looking brownish poop color that is actually for home repair! (I use that on stocks) Catch me at a show and I will show you what they look like and ease of use.

Muncie-is that Ceracoat on your P. Beretta?

Paper towels with paint thinner work well too. I glopped mine on, used a brush to push it in the cracks and then immediately wiped with paper towel. Wipe once and then find a clean spot on the paper towel and repeat.

I did more of a blot than wipe. Also, on the smaller details, I wrapped the paper towel around a credit card. I tried your suggestion about the paper on my USP today and couldn't get that to work. Go figure...

Glad you got it to work for you. There's no one right way. Whatever works, works.

Those look really nice. Great job guys! I'd like to get my Eagle engraved but I have far more pressing issues...

I'm not too sure about the left side, but the right side I was thinking God Bless America. I don't want anything to shine like chrome or platinum or anything, but I would like it to be an off color so it's at least visible.

Somehow, I had this feeling you'd ask something like that! :):

Call it Lightning and my SKS Thunder? :):

BTW, both of which have disappeared in a tragic accident at the White River while fishing from a canoe...
