I don't see Daniels teaming up with the likes of Perry. Daniels is not big into social conservatism, (and has said to set it aside to deal with reality based issues) and Perry wants right into the bedrooms and wombs of America. Daniels makes Perry look like what he truly is. A buffoon.
Daniels will be on the Cabinet of whoever gets elected. If asked to serve I believe he will and I would bet he will be asked. He falls under the category of good people you want to recruit to serve on your team.
He already chose not to run his family through the meat grinder of running for National Office. VP is not much better, you just spend less time under the microscope and it is a smaller scope.
He put family first and he has already served society both in DC and in Indiana. More power to him for that.
On a side note, I think you see Republican Governors teaming up now to help defelct some of the BS in the media now and to offset Bill Clinton's push in the Fall. That is what I read into it. Social Security was just a good topic to do it under which also falls under the larger issue of financial mismanagement.
