    Right.

Coming unhinged from reality is OK when we do it but not when they do. So surpised that is the answer.

Would you care to expand upon that comment? Especially since I don't recall any riots or protests over Obama's election, or any threats of violence against him or any petitions to remove him before he was inaugurated. And since Obama took every opportunity to push gun control - even to the point of jinning up phony gun scandal (Fast & Furious), I don't see stocking up on guns and ammunition as being particularly "unhinged." So, elaborate on your thesis, please.

Ah. Lena Dunham. So many liberal tears.

    Lena Dunham: Don't Agonize, Organize
    https://www.yahoo.com/style/dont-agonize-organize-164149299.html

It's painful to know that white women, so unable to see the unity of female identity, so unable to look past their violent privilege, and so inoculated with hate for themselves, showed up to the polls for him, too.
Oh the horror. Some women actually though for themselves and didn't do as they were told to do.

We are the generation with the strongest and most vast understanding of identity politics yet
Maybe an understanding of economics and foreign policy might help... just a suggestion.

A lot of people have been talking about how we need to try to understand how this happened and what's going on in the minds of the people who voted for Donald Trump. Maybe. Maybe. But maybe let's leave that to the strategists, to the men in offices who need to run the numbers. It should not be the job of women, of people of color, of queer and trans Americans, to understand who does not consider them human and why, just as it's not the job of the abused to understand their abuser.
She doesn't want to understand. Well, then she will keep failing. To win, you must know yourself, and your opponent. Duh!

Read through the comments. There are some good ones. Normally, reading the comments make my blood boil. But here, I was laughing pretty good.

yesterdayTrump is the creation of the Liberal process. You spent so much time looking down, criticizing any who opposed your point of view, by spewing names as Teabaggers, racists, sexist, xenophobic, that you never even realized, while you spent all your time talking on the phone, those same people you were insulting were going to work and keeping this country alive. Someone had to pay for the privilege for you to spend all day chatting, the money didn't magically appear. It was taken from someone else so you could push your agenda. Well, you awoke the monster, now you get to deal with him.

sparky218 hours agoMore white women voted for Trump than for Hillary! How did that happen? Think maybe women are not as easily controlled by the media as the youth were for Obama? That maybe they're more concerned about their family, jobs and world affairs, than about electing someone because of their gender? Yes....that is where Hillary and the media made their big mistake. Women are not naïve as they thought they were, but are far more issue oriented than Hillary gave them credit for. Go girls!!

15 hours agoLena, a Hispanic woman here in my 50's what you are is an irresponsible immature .little girl throwing a tantrum. Evidently your parents gave you too much freedom and you have no clue what to do with it. I would love to see you in any country in the M. East living like one of their women, so you can feel thank you for what you were born into. Get over it, suck it up, grow up, and stop inciting to violence in true socialist form. You and your kind make me want to vomit. WE women are not all the same. I SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT ELECT, I will not organize and will not riot and will not be acting like a nut. One day it will all back to haunt you. Rise above your " stupidness" (a new word for you and your kind)

    And it goes on.

Since the Election, I Can't Stop Worrying About My Parents
    https://www.yahoo.com/beauty/since-election-cant-stop-worrying-180000582.html

My thoughts have been circling endlessly around my parents. I am afraid for them. I am afraid that any racism they've experienced in the 30-some years they've lived in America will escalate; that their Chinese faces and accented English will make them "fair game."

And some real good comments on this one

10 hours agoJust stop it. Another stupid article written by someone who has no clue about the world beyond social media. There has never been a better time in this country for women, minorities, LGBT, etc. It's a better place because people are progressing, not because of who wins an election. If you are really dumb enough to think that all of that progress is lost because of an election, then you have to understand that it would have never lasted anyway

9 hours agoHello I am a Chinese guy, born here in the U.S. My parents came from the mainland and have lived here for 30 years. They immigrated naturally and legally as did ALL my extended family members that moved to America. What is this racism that scares the author so much about her parents? Going into the election we were fairly neutral without a preference in thr candidates but by the end most of us were firmly in Trump's corner because of the corruption of the Clintons. What I don't get is why people are acting like the world is going to end and all of a sudden all women are going to be groped, all minorities will be beaten. Being a minority I can't say I've never experienced racism or what not in my life but it never has been really bad and most people in this day are tolerant of others. My parents feel the same way and they know its just how prople will act with others of different colors. In fact its quite funny because mainlanders in China are quite racist against other skin colors themselves.

What really irks me is the behavior of the media up till this point and the leftist people still protesting the election. The least fancy they could be at this point and now I'm especially happy they lost.
Coming from a non white point the truly deplorable ones are these people. They are totally intolerant on other people's belief and hopes. Frankly they're disgusting to me.

P.S my lesbian aunt with a masters in math from UCLA voted for Trump because of how corrupt and evil Clinton feels. How's that for a different narrative?

10 hours agoMr. Trump isn't even behind the desk yet???? Whats wrong with these folks? But I have seen destruction of property, disruption of commerce, burning of the flag, etc on their part...so how does that fall in relation of your fears of Trump? Well one is real and the other is wishful thinking

Saw a headline for Vox.com, so I'm not going to give them traffic.

The headline reads... The real reason we have an Electoral College: to protect Slave States.

For anybody that might try to "remind" you how magnanomous the democrats were when Obama won, remind them this phrase was spoken often and they even made a bumper sticker out of it.

    Who is raising these people

    Apparently no one.

    Hillary's village

Finally, the question is answered. Public schools, and parents raised by public schools have been raising these kids.

_I_ finally was okay with him playing so much golf. When he was on a golf course, he wasn't f***ing up the country.

I've come to that understanding myself. It was difficult to reconcile a a strong belief in work ethic with BHO's habbits. But then I realized the less time he spends ****ing things up, the fewer things get ****ed up. Hopefully. It may have worked out differently than we imagined. Maybe all these ideas BHO has impmlemented through his pen and phone were concocted by him and his golfing buddy.

If I had any artistic talent or could photoshop, I would create a bumper sticker that reads:

    *SHE LOST*
    GET OVER IT

With the T rendered in the font used for the T on the vertical stabilizer of Trump's 757.

His preacher, based on his rhetoric, certainly. However my inclination is Obama is not. His wife may certainly be.
I wonder how it would work for a racist biracial person. The black half hates the white half? White half hates the black half?
i don't know if Obama is racist or not, but he definitely hasn't done anything to bring this country together! I truly believe he has set race relations back at least 30 years, if not more!

Curious what makes you think his wife may be. I've never heard enough statements from here to really get a feel for that issue.

Why is the name blocked out? Can you provide the link where you got this from?

I censored it because the individual in question has practically shut down their facebook account after everything that has happened as a result of that post.

Lets just put it this way, they took the full brunt of what happens when you upset millions of people online with far too much technical skill and time on their hands.

Within a short period of when that post was made, practically every detail of their personal life from address and phone numbers, work address, everything was published. Oh, and they did get a visit from the police for that comment.
