    You have to get in with the right shop or shops. I have a good time dealing with the fellas at the local pawn shop and they are a licensed FFL
    You are not going to get the real good deals until you frequent the place a few times. No pimps in the shop I use and the prices are fair. They get some nice new pieces as well. Right place right time and there are deals to be had.

    Then on the outgoing side they ask full retail for stuff that looks like it was pulled behind a truck, Even if you work down the price your still paying too much for junk.

    Either for some reason you're not their target market, or you're leaving money on the table.
