Well, some of us have other stuff to do

Well, our jobs are a bit different.
I'm either sitting around, making sure I'm caught up on stuff, but doing a LOT of sitting.... or I'm standing over 600,000 pounds of liquid steel trying to get the temperature sensor to work, while the boss is yelling that they're going to lose hundreds of thousands if I don't get it working. All the while ignoring the fact that I told him something needed to be done, and he said "I'll worry about it when it happens".


And unfortunately, I've been TOO busy lately.
To "SAVE" money, they've been trying out a LOT of cheap parts.
So far, we BENT a mold that's worth millions..
Dumped a couple million pounds of steel on the ground, because they decided to eliminate the guys calibrating the scales, causing the recipe to be wrong, and therefore losing the 3 guys wages... for 3 years... so it didn't seem to save any money
And so on
And so on

Doesn't matter.
I have a hard time remembering their names anymore.
A couple bosses ago, I just called him a number. I think it was 21.
It referred to the fact that he was my 21st boss. It may be higher, I've actually lost count.
I told him, after he was gone, I'd still be there. And my hope in life was that he wouldn't screw the place up that they decide to burn it down and start from scratch.
After he lectured everyone on how IF HE WAS ON SHIFT WORK, he would work just as hard, on ALL shifts, he was then told he was going to be bumped to work shifts.
He took a month of vacation all at once, and then QUIT.
He didn't work 1 DAY. I guess he lied.
