Going to put my beans (15 bean mix) to soak in the morning. Planning on putting the ham 'n beans together after the Colts game tomorrow and letting the crockpot work its magic until lunch time Monday.

The only thing better than 15 bean mix is 16 bean mix!

It seems like sometimes its 13 sometimes I find 15 ans sometimes I find 16! but I love them over cornbread and a tablespoon or so of sweet relish!

It died from alive in 2 years as in not a single leaf. I was after locust trees and those things go all over the yard so I started wondering if the locust "rubbed" up against it or something. I don't doubt you are right but it scared me a little bit

Locusts are like aspen groves, in that many can spring from the same root. And 50' is nothing in my experience when it comes to the distance black locust roots will travel. If it was the same variety of tree, it could have been sharing a root system.

Bacon sausage and 3 potato mix tonight.

We get the mixed little potatoes at kroger in a bag. Purple, gold and reds, olive oil, pink salt and some kinders seasoning and let em go under a dome on the blackstone.

They're great with a spritz of olive oil and some garlic salt in the air fryer too.
