Any of you northern folk get to witness any displays from Tuesday's CME?
Sky was perfect here last night and I had set an alarm, but after almost an hour, still nothing.

I did enjoy some one on one time with my son, who is just as interested in astronomical phenomena as I have always been.
He was 6yrs old when I bought him his first reflecting telescope to watch a lunar eclipse.

Last night we strolled out with our lawn chairs around 12:30 and sat in the middle of the golf fairway, best view, talked work, made fun of liberal nonsense we've seen lately.
I took my pipe; he brought some tunes.

Only other draw was all the crickets with romance on their minds and the frogs at the pond calling for rain.

    No northern lights.
